I love creating beautiful interfaces. A clunky UI can completely ruin a brilliant idea or device. I understand how to use animation to guide users though an interface and delight them along the way.

- Led by Johnny Ive and Alan Dye, I worked with the Human Interface team to drive Apple’s design identity and core interfaces
- My work can be seen on all Apple devices. If you are one of the millions who use an Apple device, you’ve seen my work.
- Worked extensively on the new Lyft app and helped define their motion language. The new app won the 2018 Google Material Design Award.
- During my 2009 Apple Internship, Steve Jobs presented my Origami Photo Slideshow on stage as a favorite feature of the iPad reveal.
- Graduate of the competitive Digital Design program at the University of Cincinnati, which is consistently ranked one of the top design schools in the world.

I love the outdoors – hiking, camping, snowboarding – just get me in the wild. In 2012, I spent nine months traveling around the world with my now wife. We spent time in New Zealand where we built a camper van and cruised around the entire country.
During the pandemic we bought van #2 and began cruising up and down the West Coast, living and working in Airbnbs. We now share our love of travel with our two sons, the oldest has already been to fifteen national parks.
